Do Guinea pigs make good pets?

Guinea pigs are cute and lovable pets. They are the only other animal (besides humans) that cannot produce their own vitamin C, so their diet must include this nutrient. (Parsley is a great source of Vitamin C). Normal lifespan is 5 to 7 years.

What can you tell me about Gerbils?

Gerbils are sweet, docile pets. Because their teeth are always growing proper care includes a steady supply of wood for them to chew on. Normal lifespan is 3 to 5 years.

What hamster is right for me?

The best, most social and easy-going hamsters are Syrian (or Golden) Hamsters, and they are comfortable in a dry, warm environment. There are pets sold as “Dwarf Hamsters,” but they are not true hamsters, and their behavior is far less predictable. Normal lifespan is 2 to 3 years.
