Is a flight-trimmed bird is a safe bird?

Almost all of the injuries pet birds suffer are a result of their flight instinct being trigged and the damage they cause themselves when their flight feathers are not sufficiently trimmed. For this reason, we highly recommend that flight feather on all pet birds be trimmed. It just makes them safer.
